Gratefulness is the heart of generosity.  When we fully appreciate the bounty in our own lives, we develop the capacity to contribute generously to the well-being of others. 

This e-course - consisting of 4 emailed lessons and 3 Maestro conference calls - will be led by one of the gems of the philanthropic world, Lynn Trojahn, board member of A Network for Grateful Living (ANG*L), Chair of ANG*L's Development Committee, and Vice President of Advancement for Accion New Mexico • Arizona • Colorado, an award-winning non-profit that empowers people to be catalysts for positive change - one small business at a time. Together with Lynn, we will explore:
  • The context of money in our lives  and how we look at money and nonprofits.
  • Generosity in our own lives, and how important it is to joyously contribute ourselves to what we care about, and bringing others on board with our passion.
  • Generosity from the macro to the micro – how philanthropy affects the world  and the U.S.; who we give to; and how much. 
We will be sending participants emails with Lynn's lessons on these dates:

Fri.    - November 30th
Fri.    - December 7th
Fri.    - December 14th
Wed. - December 19th (a concluding email)

You will be able to access this weekly written information at your own pace and discretion.  In addition, Lynn will host optional teleconference calls that include small group conversations, seminar presentations, and question-answer periods.  These calls will be at 9am PDT / noon EDT / 17 GMT on the following Mondays:

Mon.  - December 17

We welcome your participation in this course whether you are a seasoned fundraiser, a volunteer with causes you believe in, or simply a person wanting to further cultivate a spirit of generosity in your own life.  Lynn’s warm, sparkling spirit has been a tremendous inspiration to those of us who know her at ANG*L.  We are so honored and happy to share her wisdom with you!
